Apprentice Administration & Finance Assistant
Qualification – Level 3 Business Administrator
Hours – 36 hours
Fixed term – 21 months
Salary – NMW age dependent (breakdown per age group as below)
· Age 16-17 £ 12,370 per annum (£6.59 per hour)
· Age 18-20 £ 16,631 per annum (£8.86 per hour)
· Age 21+ £ 22,113 per annum (£11.78 per hour)
Apprenticeships are high quality, work-based training programmes for people who want to develop their prospects and career. The programme provides work-based training to those who want to learn new skills and gain qualifications while working.
Merseyside Environmental Advisory Service are looking to recruit an Apprentice who is committed and motivated to complete the 21 month programme.
Your main duties will be providing effective administration and technical support to the service and will include:
- maintenance of records/office systems;
- ordering of materials and services;
- invoicing for charged services;
- providing support services to the Management Team and other EAS officers including Biobank;
- dealing with external enquiries;
- assisting the team with general duties including, financial management, time recording and monitoring and reporting of the Service.
The post will be based at Magdalen House, 30 Trinity Road, Bootle L20 3NJ and/or Court Hey Park (The Courtyard) Roby Road, Huyton, Liverpool L16 3NA dependent on the candidate’s location/circumstances.
